Growing Leaders From the Ground Up
Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together.
The Sustainable Science Academy (SSA) is a faith-centered, agriculture-based early childhood program of the National Women in Agriculture Association (NWIAA)—the world's largest women-led agricultural nonprofit. With 120+ chapters nationwide, NWIAA has spent nearly two decades training youth, strengthening families, and building community-driven food systems that create lasting change.
Now, SSA brings that mission directly to your child. At SSA, children do more than attend childcare—they grow, plant, explore, lead, and learn. We offer a transformative environment for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years where faith-based character development, agriculture and STEM education, bilingual immersion, and kindergarten readiness all come together in one nurturing, structured community. Your child's enrollment isn't just childcare—it's an investment in who they will become.
Our Programs & What Your Child Will Learn
SSA serves children from infancy through school age with age-appropriate, hands-on programming rooted in real-world learning. Across every level, students develop foundational morals and life discipline, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, American Sign Language exposure, agriculture-based STEM skills, early financial awareness, and the leadership confidence that comes from growing something with their own hands.

Why SSA Stands Apart
In the heart of Oklahoma, SSA stands as the sole childcare facility of its kind. Our state-of-the-art facility features an outdoor agriculture classroom where children connect with nature, learn where their food comes from, and develop a relationship with the land that will serve them for life. Meals are prepared with locally sourced fruits and vegetables, reinforcing health and sustainability as daily values—not just lessons.
Beyond the classroom, SSA is woven into the fabric of its community. Collaborations with the Oklahoma City Public School District fortify our commitment to effective teaching and community enrichment, while our minority-owned, women-led leadership ensures that every decision is made with the whole child—and the whole family—in mind. We don't just prepare children for kindergarten. We prepare them for life.
