What We’re Building — And Why It Matters

Farmers are facing rising costs, delayed assistance, workforce shortages, and growing pressure on local food systems. This initiative addresses those challenges by:

  • Delivering faster, state-level solutions that respond to real farmer needs

  • Strengthening food security and local supply chains

  • Expanding leadership and opportunity for women in agriculture

  • Ensuring farmers have a strong, unified voice in decision-making

The goal is simple: support farmers today while building a stronger agricultural future.

The National Women in Agriculture Association (NWIAA) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. NWIAA does not endorse, oppose, or affiliate with any political party, candidate, or campaign. Engagement with elected officials, government agencies, and public institutions is conducted solely for educational, advocacy, and programmatic purposes in support of farmers, rural communities, and women in agriculture.
