Bringing a National Charter to Life
NWIAA is the largest nonprofit in the country supporting women in agriculture. We’re working to secure national recognition through a White House charter, similar to organizations like 4-H, to strengthen our network and ensure long-term sustainability.
No national charter currently exists for women-led agricultural organizations.
NWIAA has a proven track record of connecting women and youth with educational and career opportunities in agriculture.
Federal recognition would secure sustainable support, allowing us to expand programs and grow our network across the country.
Why This Matters
What a National Charter Would Do
Officially recognize NWIAA as a permanent national organization.
Provide sustainable funding to support our programs and local chapters.
Expand opportunities for education, mentorship, and career pathways in agriculture.
Strengthen our ability to coordinate programs nationwide.
Support women-led agriculture initiatives across the United States.
Prepare the next generation through youth programs and educational opportunities.
Build a sustainable and coordinated national network of chartered organizations.
