Sustainable Science Academy Charter School is an agriculture-based elementary charter school under the leadership of the National Women in Agriculture Association (NWIAA) — the largest nonprofit agriculture organization of its kind, founded in 2008 with 120+ chapters nationwide. For nearly two decades, NWIAA has trained youth, strengthened families, and advanced community-driven agriculture that creates lasting change.
Now, NWIAA is bringing that mission into the classroom. Sustainable Science Academy Charter School will be Oklahoma City's first agriculture-based elementary charter school — a transformative, faith-centered learning environment where students explore science, technology, sustainability, and leadership rooted in the land. This is not just a school. It's an investment in who your child will become.
About the School
Sustainable Science Academy Charter School is currently in development, launching in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma during the historic 2026 Year of the International Woman Farmer. The school will serve as the first model in NWIAA's 23-state national initiative — establishing a blueprint for agriculture-based elementary education across America.
Students will develop foundational character and life skills, agriculture and STEM knowledge, bilingual proficiency, and the leadership confidence that comes from growing something with their own hands.
