Big Voices. Big Conversations. Tennessee Showed Up

Last week’s Tennessee Town Hall brought together leaders, advocates, and voices from across our state to have real conversations about the future of agriculture.

We were honored to hear from Rep. Jones in person, sharing insight on policy and the importance of supporting our agricultural communities. Femeika Elliott also spoke in person, offering a powerful perspective shaped by her firsthand experience across Tennessee.

Our chapter leader and Master Gardener, Ms. Vivian Williams, grounded the conversation in community impact and education—reminding us where it all starts.

We were also grateful for video messages from Memphis Mayor Paul Young and Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, highlighting the importance of agriculture at both the local and statewide level.

To top it off, we featured NWIAA on RFD-TV, showcasing the growing momentum behind women in agriculture and the work being done across the country.

This was more than a conversation—it was a step forward.
