Louisiana Women in Agriculture Represents at the LA Farm Bureau Convention

The Louisiana Women in Agriculture Association (LA-WIAA) was proud to participate as a vendor at the Louisiana Farm Bureau Annual Convention held this past weekend in New Orleans. Representing the LA-WIAA Northshore Chapter were State President and Chapter Leader Mary Bolton-Warren, Chapter Secretary-Treasurer Justina Hart, and NWIAA Louisiana State Director Monica Velasquez. Throughout the convention, they connected with agricultural leaders, producers, and Farm Bureau members from across the state, sharing information about LA-WIAA’s mission to support, empower, and advocate for women in agriculture. The event provided a valuable opportunity to build relationships, raise awareness, and engage with Louisiana’s agricultural community.

Does your chapter have an upcoming event, conference, agricultural exposition, or vendor opportunity? We want to hear about it! Email event details, photos, and information to admin@nwiaa.org and let us help amplify your impact by:

• Sharing your event with our constituents across the nation, creating opportunities for participation, networking, and connection; and
• Showcasing the incredible work women in agriculture are doing in communities across the country and around the globe.

Together, we can celebrate, support, and elevate the voices of women in agriculture everywhere.
